    My Research

    My current research interests include Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Linguistics,
    Information Retrieval, and Artificial Intelligence. I have hands-on experience in NLP,
    leveraging large language models(LLMs), and applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems.

    Undergraduate Thesis Paper

    Bridging Human and Model Perspectives: A Comparative Analysis of Political Bias Detection in News Media Using Large Language Models

    Supervised by Dr. Farig Yousuf Sadeque. Conducted a comparative study on bias detection in news media using transformer models and LLMs. We manually annotated a high-quality dataset of 15,000+ articles across 7 bias categories, achieving substantial inter-annotator agreement. My contributions include fine-tuning BERT and RoBERTa , with RoBERTa achieving an F1-score of 0.7741, examining human–model alignment through zero-shot, guideline-conditioned, and few-shot prompting and performing error analysis revealing gaps in contextual and discourse-level bias interpretation.
